Monica McDonough Leone received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers College, Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. After working in the insurance industry for several years, Mrs. Leone returned to the academic environment and earned her law degree from Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 1992. While attending law school Mrs. Leone worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Mrs. Leone is admitted to the Bar in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mrs. Leone joined the Lewis Law Firm in 1997 where she focuses on litigation assisting the critically injured in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Leone believes that the problems and troubles of many women are dismissed by their healthcare providers and critical problems go undiagnosed resulting in medical catastrophes. With many sisters, nieces and women friends, Mrs. Leone is especially interested in the healthcare issues affecting women through pregnancy and as they age.
